Job Summary:

N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Everett, WA. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency, including scanner, post-processing stations/programs, IV contrast injectors, O2 and suction equipment, patient transport, and patient monitoring equipment.
  • Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient, referring and questioning orders to the Radiologist as necessary.
  • Properly identify patients using two patient identifiers and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures.
  • Prepare patients for the procedure with a full explanation and document on appropriate worksheets.
  • Interview patients for a complete medical history and review in-patients, ER, and outpatients EMR's to obtain pertinent clinical history.
  • Record medical history on requisitions, correlate other test results and laboratory data with the exam being performed, and assume responsibility for the exam from beginning to completion of dictated results.
  • Prepare and administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols and record contrast type and amount as requested.
  • Evaluate technical quality of images and consult with a Radiologist if needed, recognizing abnormal anatomy and processing additional images and/or measurements as instructed.
  • Perform basic patient care functions and maintain assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion, keeping the area completely stocked and clean.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in an ARMRIT or ARRT registry-eligible program.
