We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Kona Community Hospital in Hawaii. About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings
  • Collaborating with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, including fetal monitoring data and patient progress notes
  • Participating in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Hawaii
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in labor and delivery or a related field
  • Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80-$100 per hour, based on national averages and industry standards. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
