Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to clients, guests, and co-workers.
  • Responding to Emergencies: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, ensuring the safety of people and property.
  • Crime Prevention and Deterrence: Implement measures to prevent and deter crime, maintaining a secure environment.
  • Ingress/Egress Control: Perform procedures to control access to and from designated areas.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
  • Log and Report Maintenance: Complete daily logs and incident reports, maintaining accurate records.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular walking or vehicle patrols, monitoring CCTV cameras and maintaining situational awareness.
  • Professional Relationships: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, guests, and co-workers.
  • Conflict Resolution: De-escalate conflicts and resolve issues in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Suspect Detention: Detain suspects as necessary, following established protocols.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the success of OPS Security Group.

Requirements:

  • Yellow SORA Certification: Possess current and valid Yellow SORA certification.
  • Age and Education: Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Hold a current and valid driver's license.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate proficient time management skills.
  • Reliable Transportation: Have reliable transportation.
  • Background Investigation: Pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening, and OPS training requirements.

Appearance and Grooming:

  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean, and combed professional appearance.
  • Beard and Mustache: Keep beards and mustaches clean and neatly trimmed.
  • Fingernails: Keep fingernails trimmed and clean, avoiding any obstruction of uniform or equipment.
