Job Summary

The Executive Director of Admissions is responsible for leading the recruitment and enrollment of a diverse student population to Talladega College. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic admissions plan, aligning with the institution's mission, goals, and direction. The successful candidate will have direct managerial responsibility for the Office of Admission and will work closely with internal and external partners to achieve student success and graduation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish annual recruitment goals in collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment Management Services.
  2. Provide leadership in shaping strategic admissions goals, including diversity, academic profile, athletics, and transfer partnerships.
  3. Create and execute comprehensive strategic admissions recruitment plans, leveraging technology for communication and social media.
  4. Lead and manage staff to achieve goals, establishing reporting structures and fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing/Communications staff to develop marketing materials and targeted communication plans.
  6. Develop and monitor admissions dashboards to inform data-driven decisions.
  7. Work with academic departments to enhance recruitment efforts.
  8. Manage department budgets in collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment Management Services.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in recruitment and enrollment management. They will have knowledge of recruitment, marketing, admissions, and financial aid practices, as well as experience working with CRM tools and Student Information Systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a personal code of ethics are essential for this role.
