- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, providing technical expertise to project teams.
- Supervise field exploration programs and interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
- Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, promoting ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC's services and expertise.
- Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
- Experience with industry standards and safety regulations, with a focus on ensuring compliance and quality delivery.
- Business development experience, with a proven track record of success in community involvement and client engagement.
- BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
- Preferred: MS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with additional certifications or experience in business development and leadership.
