We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our 5G Engineering team as a Co-op. As a Co-op, you'll have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, develop your skills in 5G technology, and contribute to the development of our wireless network.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of 5G network solutions
- Work on projects related to 5G technology, NFV, and radio frequency engineering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and evaluate options to optimize network coverage
- Develop and maintain project trackers and facilitate area-wide project calls
- Interact with engineering, product groups, and finance to design and implement cost-effective solutions for a wireless network
- Currently enrolled in an Ohio State University Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Wireless Technologies, High-Frequency Design, Artificial Intelligence, or a related major
- Expected completion date between December 2025 and June 2026
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
- Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office
- Previous internship or Co-op experience
- Completed coursework in calculus, physics, and/or probability/statistics
- Experience with data analytics, data science, and computer programming for analysis and automation
- Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship management, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills
