Job Summary:

The Sculpture Shopkeeper II is responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment in the Wood and Metalworking Studios. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to provide light assistance to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Student Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for students in the Wood and Metalworking Studios.
• Tool and Equipment Management: Check in and out tools and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized shop space.
• Support to Students: Provide light assistance and support to students as needed.
• Task Assistance: Assist with tasks identified by the Art Department Studio Technician.

Qualifications:

• Education: Must have taken the 3D Foundations course at St. Olaf.
• Experience: Knowledge and experience with woodworking and metalworking tools and processes.
• Skills: Promptness, attention to detail, and safety consciousness.
