Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Millwright Helper to assist journeyman millwrights in various tasks related to industrial equipment installation, maintenance, and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, layout plans, and technical manuals to determine work procedures.
- Dismantle and reassemble industrial equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Move and position equipment using hoists, dollies, and other lifting devices.
- Construct and install equipment foundations using building materials such as wood, cement, and steel.
- Align and level equipment using precision instruments and tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on industrial equipment.
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform other duties as required to support the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in the field or related area preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
The Millwright Helper will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required.
