Orthopaedic Nurse Opportunity at Cleveland Clinic

Cleveland Clinic's Medina Hospital is seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse on our 4 South Orthopaedic Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of caregivers and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing joint replacements and other orthopaedic procedures.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience, with consideration given to military RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
