Paralegal Specialist

DYADlaw, P.C. is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our immigration law team, you will play a vital role in advocating for immigrant rights and supporting attorneys in complex immigration law cases.

• Conduct thorough research and provide support in case preparation and document management for immigration-related matters.
• Prepare and review legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards.
• Manage case files and ensure all pertinent documents are complete and filed correctly.
• Assist with responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other inquiries from government agencies.
• Engage in direct communication with clients, gathering necessary documentation and information, and providing updates on case progress.
• Coordinate and oversee the quality assurance of case reviews to ensure all filings meet necessary legal and evidentiary standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff and interns on legal procedures and case preparation techniques.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration law and procedures.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Certification or associate's degree in Paralegal Studies; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in immigration law.
• Proficiency with legal database software and standard office software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive client interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
