Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a member of our Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, and promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs and goals
  • Collaborate with our interprofessional team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including assessment data, interventions, and progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote open and transparent communication

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
