Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team comprising two to four project managers along with one assistant project manager.
  • Collaborate with internal business development and preconstruction teams to grasp the scope, specifications, and timelines of extensive commercial, multi-family, institutional, and industrial projects.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships to enhance project procurement, mitigate risks, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Address construction challenges as they arise, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date project management systems, tracking critical milestones effectively.
  • Supervise the submittal drawing process in coordination with contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Align project phases with the general contractor's schedule for seamless execution.
  • Work in close partnership with superintendents to ensure that field measurements are accurately reflected in final production drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and contract requirements while adhering to timelines.
  • Keep projects on schedule within established company lead time guidelines.
  • Review, create, and oversee the execution of change orders as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and the internal accounting team to guarantee timely and accurate billing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, including plan sets and isometrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all organizational levels, customers, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to analyze and organize substantial amounts of information efficiently.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the construction or manufacturing sector.
