Electrical Power Systems Hardware Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Hardware Engineer III to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high and medium power systems for our spacecraft.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with high voltage power systems. You will work closely with our firmware, software, systems, and mechanical engineers to deliver full operational and integrated flight hardware.
Key responsibilities will include developing, leading, and owning high and low voltage, avionic designs that interact with electrical power consumers. You will also support power regulation and distribution architecture trade studies, analyses, performance characterization and specification, device selection, and product roadmap direction.
As a member of our team, you will participate in program level technology development, mission assurance and safety initiatives, and avionics development process improvements. You will effectively communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines, and a breadth of understanding in electronics hardware development such as developing high voltage switching.
