Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney to become a vital part of our legal team. The successful candidate will handle a variety of intricate commercial litigation cases, including but not limited to intellectual property disputes, entertainment law issues, corporate conflicts, and real estate litigation. This full-time position offers a stimulating and rewarding atmosphere for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage complex commercial litigation cases from initial investigation through to appeals.
2. Provide expert legal counsel on various commercial disputes, including intellectual property and corporate ownership matters.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
4. Represent the firm in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitration sessions.
5. Conduct in-depth legal research to remain informed on developments in commercial litigation.
6. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their legal needs are met.
7. Collaborate with team members to formulate effective litigation strategies.
8. Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff within the legal department.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
2. 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
3. Proven expertise in intellectual property and corporate ownership disputes.
4. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
5. Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful resolutions.
6. Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
8. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
9. High standards of ethics and integrity.
10. Ability to work independently and manage a substantial workload effectively.
11. Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
