Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth operating room experience.

Job Summary:

The Operating Room Nurse will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide pre- and post-operative care to patients. This includes preparing patients for surgery, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth operating room experience
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
