Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Fowler, CA. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including welding, cutting, grinding, and fabricating parts
  • Work on-site with a team-oriented approach, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams and perform complex repairs
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed
