About the Role

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager Trainee to join our team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including supervising and training team members, managing inventory and scheduling, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and train a team of 2-5 team members in cookie sales and customer delivery
  • Supervise and lead new hourly staff onboarding and initial training
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires in the manager's absence
  • Support the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling
  • Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards and ensure excellent customer service
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store
  • Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience
  • Ability to utilize MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs-Sun)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States
