Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and communicate critical information.
  • Procedure Assistance: Assist providers with procedures such as conscious sedation, central lines, and rapid sequence intubation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Documentation and Quality Improvement: Accurately document patient information and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
  • Customer Service and Teamwork: Provide positive customer service relations and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current licensure as a professional registered nurse in the state of Missouri or eligibility to practice as a graduate nurse in the state of Missouri.
  • Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and experience working in an emergency department or similar setting.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
