Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing essential speech therapy services within a supportive Skilled Nursing Facility environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver speech therapy interventions as directed by the attending physician.
2. Support patients in improving their speech, language, and communication abilities, as well as their oral and pharyngeal sensor motor functions.
3. Facilitate patient progress towards independence in their care needs within the least restrictive setting.
4. Ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe speech pathology services.
5. Adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and standards in providing speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) is mandatory.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the practicing state.
