You will work under the general supervision of the Division Supervisor and immediate supervision of the lead crew member on a particular assignment. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess basic knowledge of sewer collection operations, maintenance, and repair. You should also have experience with hand/power tools used in department projects and activities. Additionally, you must be able to follow written and oral instructions, communicate effectively with the public and other employees, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow City staff, associates, contractors, and the general public.

Physical Demands: The primary duties of this position are performed in an outdoor environment and may include working in adverse weather conditions, vehicular traffic, and hazards involving the use of power tools and equipment. You must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds for varying distances, perform physical exertions in an outdoor environment, and withstand prolonged exposure to varying temperatures.
