We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Consultant to join our team at Three Wire Systems. As a partner with the VA, we provide Disability Evaluations to Veterans regarding TBI claims.
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will conduct one-time, in-person exams for TBI claims, lasting 60-90 minutes. These exams involve no treatment, follow-up exams, or writing of prescriptions. The focus will be on TBI exams, and appointments are scheduled approximately 5-7 days in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychiatric examinations, including review of medical records, conducting history and examination, and interpreting all clinical data.
- Provide a signed examination report, including corroborating histories, physical findings, results of diagnostic tests, and diagnoses completed as required by the associated Disability Benefits Questionnaire(s) (DBQs).
- Conduct individual evaluations, up to 7 per day, lasting 60-90 minutes each.
- Submit signed report packages upon completion.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- State licensure in the state currently working.
- Independent contractor position.
- Unrestricted, independent licensure is required.
- Minimum Experience: Relevant work with a military population preferred.
- Minimum Education/Training/License Requirements: Only physicians specializing in Psychiatry with a full, clear, active, and unrestricted state license may perform psychiatric examinations.
