CDL Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to operate a variety of heavy equipment, including bucket trucks and manual tree trucks with a chipper attached. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of driving experience with a Class A or B CDL and be able to safely operate equipment in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment, including bucket trucks and manual tree trucks with a chipper attached
  • Haul equipment and materials between work sites
  • Participate in laborer duties, including operating a chainsaw and chipper, clearing and dragging brush, loading brush and debris into trucks, and flagging
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Assist tree climbers

Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License; Class A or B
  • Able to safely work under varying and adverse weather conditions
  • Knowledge of safety protocols for using machinery, including chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks
  • Ability to load and unload trucks with logs and debris, and feed chippers with debris weighing 25 lbs. or more
  • Ability to drive safely and follow all traffic laws
