Job Summary:

Amerita is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse to provide professional nursing care for the safety and well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infusion therapy and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and establish and implement individualized plans of care
  • Manage vascular access devices, including insertion of peripheral infusion devices or peripherally inserted catheters (if certified)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and related topics
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and monitor patient care plans
  • Evaluate patient progress and make recommendations for changes in care as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous infusion and home health care experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work a variety of shift models
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Must meet company standards for driving record as well as driver age requirement
