Job Title: Associate - Corporate Restructuring Financial Advisory

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our Corporate Restructuring Financial Advisory team in Miami, FL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of our engagements, including assisting with bankruptcy-related financial and legal analysis, litigation, developing complex financial models, providing valuations, evaluating strategic alternatives, and quantifying damages.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with financial and legal analysis, including evaluation of first-day motions, 13-week cash flow analyses, and liquidity forecasting.
  • Develop complex financial models, including three-statement financial models, ad hoc analytics, and company valuations.
  • Provide valuations, evaluate strategic alternatives, and quantify damages.
  • Work closely with senior personnel to develop comprehensive solutions to complex financial challenges.
  • Recognize underlying issues and condense large amounts of financial and legal information into logical, thoughtful, and concise solutions and/or presentations.
Requirements:
  • Strong academic record from a leading undergraduate/graduate program.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in restructuring/corporate restructuring/restructuring advisory work.
  • Superior financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities.
  • Proficient with financial/data analytics.
  • Familiarity with the US Bankruptcy code is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Action-oriented.
