Senior Biohazard Remediation Team Lead

This position involves leading a team in biohazard remediation projects, ensuring exceptional client service and effective project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising job completion, estimating project scopes, managing cleanups, and handling necessary paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively assist the team in providing exceptional client service through bioremediation efforts.
- Supervise job completion, estimate project scopes, manage cleanups, and handle necessary paperwork to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Effectively communicate with clients to sell tailored scopes of work and obtain sign-off to initiate projects.
- Lead on-site customer interactions with empathy and professionalism, prioritizing high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in biohazard remediation projects, overseeing all aspects of the process.
Working Conditions
The ideal candidate must be able to respond to dispatch within one hour, possess the ability to lift up to 50lbs, and handle physically demanding tasks. Occasional overnight travel may be required, with accommodations provided. A fast-paced and dynamic work environment is also essential for this role.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record are mandatory.
- Local residency and the ability to respond to the shop within one hour are required.
- At least 2+ years of supervisory experience is necessary.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Achieving Aftermath's Field Learning Path within 30 days and Supervisor Learning Path within 90 days is a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC S540 certification or equivalent is desirable.
- XActimate experience is beneficial.
- Proven experience leading teams in restoration, mitigation, remediation, or construction is highly valued.
- Customer service experience and military personnel background are highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication skills and a track record of successful community engagement and outreach are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant software is required.
