About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our Imaging team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating diagnostic equipment.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety protocols.
  • Process images and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
  • Ensure accurate patient records, schedule patients, and oversee patient transportation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • RT Certification from ARRT.
  • State License required.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
