Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team at Sevita. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live well and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes, clinics, or group homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
