About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Technologist to join our team at UC Health. As a Senior MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures on patients, including preparing them for exams and ensuring their safety during the procedure
  • Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related technology
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement patient-tailored protocols to ensure safe and effective MRI procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Completion of a JRCERT-approved program in Radiologic Technology or an Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certifications
  • Successful completion and passing of MRI registry
  • Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association
  • Prefer one year of experience, but not necessary
  • Must complete at least 24 hours of direct credit continuing education every 2 years
