Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet our health and safety standards. You will work closely with our chefs and servers to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect used dishes, utensils, and equipment from dining and kitchen areas
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines
  • Wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, large cookware, and delicate glassware)
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately
  • Ensure that clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are adequately stocked during peak hours
  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents)
  • Check dishwashing machines' operation and report any technical issues
  • Remove garbage regularly and dispose according to store procedures
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, bathrooms, and restaurant lobby as assigned
Requirements:
  • Work experience as a Dishwasher or in a restaurant capacity
  • Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed
  • Time management skills
  • Attention to detail and sanitation rules
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Washington State Food Worker Card required (before first day of work)
Physical Demands:

The employee must regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand throughout their shift, walk, reach with hands and arms in front of the body, lift, twist, and crouch occasionally.

Compensation:
