Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced data analysis skills using SQL, Python, and R to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Design and implement self-service analytical tools using open-source technologies to enable business analysts to perform next-generation analytics.
  • Implement unsupervised and supervised machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems and drive business value.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and governance teams to act as a data steward and ensure data quality and governance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and lead the development of key data/analytics innovation platforms.
  • Initiate, develop, and execute small to medium-scale projects that drive business value.
  • Familiarize yourself with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos reporting tools to provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Masters is a plus).
  • Strong technical knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, SQL Server), scripting/query languages (Python, SQL, SAS), and data platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle).
  • Reporting skills using Power BI (preferred).
  • Strong background in building and maintaining data infrastructure.
  • Complex problem-solving skills.
