Position Summary: This role is available in the Laguna Hills office and involves providing essential support to Project Managers and Principal Architects on various K-12 projects, which differ in size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers and Principal Architects in the execution of multiple K-12 projects.
  • Perform technical BIM and 2D CAD drawing tasks in accordance with established office standards.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from senior team members.
  • Maintain regular communication with Project Managers and Principal Architects.
  • Track and follow up on communications with team members and consultants as necessary.
  • Complete general office duties related to the position.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Document preparation, with a preference for K-12 experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Revit, 2D CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and relevant Adobe products is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General computer proficiency with either Windows or Macintosh operating systems.
  • Availability for a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with some college coursework required.
  • Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant work experience and certifications may substitute for degree requirements.
