Hotel Restaurant Server

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Jackie's International. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tables by laying out napkins, utensils, and condiments, and perform other preparation tasks as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, and communicate this information to guests.
  • Handle table bookings, direct guests to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist with drink selection, and communicate specific guest needs to the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, deliver items to guests, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses.
  • Prepare mixed drinks for service to guests' tables and properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
  • Obtain revenues, issue receipts, accept payments, and return change.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a supervisor.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Greet guests warmly with an appropriate greeting and adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Understand and communicate products and services available, and have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
