As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions to develop, recover, or maintain their daily living and work skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to support their engagement in occupations that impact their health, well-being, and quality of life.
- Select and adapt the most effective occupational therapy treatment models, methods, and approaches to direct interventions and maximize client outcomes.
- Apply interventions to enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Teach clients new strategies for approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components.
- Conduct home and environment assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for alterations consistent with clients' needs and capabilities.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training on its use to enhance client independence.
- Collaborate with family members and caregivers to educate and support them in their roles.
- Monitor and document client progress towards long- and short-term treatment goals.
- Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy.
- Practice in a supportive and progressive environment built on integrity and compassionate care.
- Electronic documentation system for streamlined workflows.
