Key Responsibilities
Act as an assistant to the agency Executive Director to ensure precise data entry, updated patient documentation, and management of daily office operations.
- Handle incoming communications from field staff, medical offices, referral sources, and patients, taking messages and orders as necessary.
- Regularly check the status of incoming faxes and report to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain professional competency through required online training and in-service sessions.
- Assist with managing phone messages and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Support visit verification, scheduling, and forecasting of patient visits, along with other reports in the hospice management system.
- Conduct high-risk patient follow-up calls as assigned.
- Contribute to the Interdisciplinary Group.
- Assist the Executive Director in preparing weekly reports.
License Requirements
- Active RN licensure in the relevant state and a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation, or public transit options.
- No additional state-specific requirements for various states including AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, WV.
