As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children ranging from newborns to age 1 in a busy 23-bed Pediatric Emergency Room department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care to pediatric patients with minor to high-level acuity.
- Manage patient flow, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in safety-sensitive job duties and adhere to relevant acts.
- Develop and maintain strong assessment, IV, and lab draw skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pediatric emergency care guidelines and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of strong pediatric or emergency room experience.
- Current ability to work as a Registered Nurse.
- PALS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Strong pediatric assessment, IV, and lab draw skills.
