Position Overview

We are collaborating with a reputable not-for-profit hospital to fill this essential role. The facility is recognized for its outstanding clinical performance and serves a diverse community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Utilize advanced radioisotope equipment to perform imaging procedures.
  • Ensure quality control and maintain patient flow during procedures.
  • Conduct screening tests for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Completion of a diploma or certificate program in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited institution is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must possess a State Nuclear Medicine License in the applicable states.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required.
  • Venipuncture certification is necessary.
Essential Duties:
  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for various studies.
  • Document all relevant information regarding radioactive materials and procedures.
  • Communicate patient preparation instructions effectively.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on complex issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
