Job Title: Behavior Therapist

Fountain Autism Center LLC is seeking a skilled Behavior Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to provide high-quality services to individuals with autism and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing training and counseling to family members, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Individualized Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that take into consideration the person's values, goals, preferences, culture, and language.
  • Service Documentation: Document all services provided in the person's case notes and/or health care plan as specified in EIDBI – Health service records.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in developing and modifying the person's individualized treatment plan, monitoring progress, and coordinating care conferences as needed.
  • Family Support: Provide family/caregiver training and counseling, as determined by the Quality Service Plan (QSP) and identified in the person's individualized treatment plan.
  • Observation and Direction: Provide observation and direction to level II or III providers, as determined by the QSP and identified in the person's individualized treatment plan.
  • Intervention Services: Provide intervention services as determined necessary in the Care Management and Developmental Evaluation (CMDE) and identified in the person's individualized treatment plan, with fidelity to the treatment method or modality necessary to promote progress on targeted goals and objectives.
  • Clinical Supervision: Receive required clinical supervision and intervention observation and direction as identified in the person's individualized treatment plan.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of autism and its effects on individuals and families. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with other professionals and communicate effectively with families.
