Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in preparing and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in implementing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) on all financial statements.
- Support the Senior Financial Analysts and Finance Management Team in preparing for special projects.
- Act as a Finance representative on committees and at meetings as necessary.
- Zero to three years of general accounting experience, including financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting practice and theory, specifically GAAP.
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and prioritize work assignments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel.
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
