Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P

The Senior Airworthiness Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and airworthiness of aircraft and components in the Repair Station. This role involves conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, and coordinating with technicians to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure airworthiness and quality
- Review and verify documentation, including maintenance records and repair orders
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Mentor and train technicians on quality control procedures and documentation
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 years of experience in aircraft inspection, including 3 years on large or mid-size aircraft
- Airframe and Powerplant License required
- Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and high levels of attention to detail. The Senior Airworthiness Inspector must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
