We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CHANEL. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of our boutiques.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing inventory levels, managing stock movements, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with our buying team to ensure that inventory is aligned with sales forecasts and that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will also be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data to inform business decisions. You must also be proficient in using inventory management systems and have strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across different functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize obsolescence
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with buying team to ensure alignment between inventory and sales forecasts
  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across different functions

Salary Range: $24.30 - $28.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
