We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Insight Global.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to various new product development, operational improvement, and reliability projects. They will work closely with program management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that products meet customer expectations while maximizing manufacturability and minimizing overall cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development: Assemble and test prototype designs to ensure they meet technical specifications and requirements.
  • Project Management: Generate work estimates, timelines, and cost estimates for projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Design Engineering: Work with design engineers to fabricate fixtures to support product development, testing, and production.
  • Documentation: Create design documentation and bills of materials for implemented solutions to facilitate easy understanding and implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet requirements and are technically sound to prevent quality issues.
  • Test Fixture Design: Support compliance and reliability testing efforts through test fixture design to ensure products meet industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or System Engineering.
  • Experience with Auto CAD (Creo or SolidWorks preferred).
  • Experience with assembly and testing of prototypes, diagrams, and internal wiring instructions.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering and wiring various electrical products.
  • General knowledge of 3-phase Power, Rack PDUs, or Power Transformers.
  • Proficiency in Creo Schematic and Mentor Graphics.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on assembly experience (80% assembly/20% designing) and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
