The Department of Physics at Lamar University is seeking a qualified candidate to teach courses at various levels of instruction in the department's curriculum. This is a part-time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach courses at assigned times using current pedagogical methods and maintain accurate records of students' grades.
* Maintain effective and timely communication with students, department chair, and composition director.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
* Physical ability to lift 25 lbs and perform various physical tasks.
