About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist II to join our team at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our mission to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical staff and nursing personnel in the perioperative care of patients in the operating room.
  • Provide technical support to the surgical team, including scrubbing for assigned procedures and assisting the surgeon during procedures.
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or completion of a surgical technician program.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a surgical technician in a hospital or ambulatory surgical center.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $35.50 per hour for the role of Surgical Technologist II.
