Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled MR Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patient Imaging (80%): Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Department Support (15%): Maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect equipment after each use, and assist with training new associates.
  • Other Duties (5%): Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Competencies Required
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Knowledge of current technical skills and procedural understanding to perform a full range of MRI scanning procedures
  • Knowledge of and adherence to ALARA principles
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
  • Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
  • Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled
  • Ability to deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • ARRT advanced MR certification
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

  • Bilingual
