Maintenance Director

Foremost Farms USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the installation, repairs, and upkeep of our facility's property and assets. This role is critical to ensuring optimal proactive maintenance support and processes for the entire plant production, driving plant efficiency, and contributing to the organization's success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and lead maintenance procedures, ensuring implementation in the facility, and optimize production operations through prioritizing, scheduling, and coordinating requests for repairs and installations.
- Identify and present capital improvement projects to support plant infrastructure needs and improvements, setting and managing budget for maintenance department and related activities.
- Maintain a critical parts inventory system, order parts as necessary, and collaborate with sub-contractors to coordinate installation of new equipment and completion of building projects.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement and strategic planning, including identifying and maintaining a pipeline of capital projects, fostering strong working relationships with stakeholders, and preparing, submitting, and updating capital requests.
- Ensure all practices comply with regulatory and internal policies, managing the plant preventive maintenance plan, administering the maintenance work order system, and managing OSHA programs.
- Participate in safety efforts, including attending safety meetings, incident investigations, and auditing, and manage training needs for maintenance staff.
- Associate degree in science or completion of trades training.
- 5 years of progressively responsible related experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and knowledge related to the job with 5-7 years of experience.
