Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process and clinical standards to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Delegate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team, prioritizing tasks and updating care plans as needed.
  • Identify patients at risk for injury, preparing the room environment and monitoring vital signs and assessments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, utilizing high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience.

Requirements

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 1-year experience in the emergency department
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification with the American Heart Association
