Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a fast-paced catheterization laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and Interpret Cardiac Rhythms: Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms on electrocardiogram (ECG) machines and interpret the data to identify any abnormalities or changes.
- Run and Post Rhythm Strips: Run ECG strips at designated intervals and post them for review by nursing staff and physicians.
- Validate Computer Readouts: Verify the accuracy of computer-generated ECG readouts and notify nursing staff of any discrepancies.
- Check and Verify Lead Placement: Ensure that ECG leads are properly placed on patients and functioning correctly.
- Notify Nursing Staff of Changes: Inform nursing staff of any changes in cardiac rhythm or other significant findings.
- Maintain Equipment and Work Area: Test and maintain ECG equipment, as well as keep the work area clean and organized.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist.
- Independent Decision-Making: Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, nursing staff, and physicians.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-pressure environment.
