Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Life Care Center of McMinnville. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide direct care to patients in occupational therapy, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including activities of daily living and functional assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, setting realistic and measurable goals for patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
  • Utilize therapy software to chart patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • NBCOT certification upon hire, with optional renewal
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
  • Current registration/licensure in applicable state, with active license in good standing
  • One year of experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
