We are seeking a skilled and compassionate QMA (Med Tech) to join our team at Rittenhouse Village at Northside. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide hands-on care and support to residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medications and treatments, following established protocols and procedures.
- Document resident information, including medication administration and any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Engage residents in activities and programs that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Certified Qualified Medication Aid license in the State of Indiana.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- CPR certification preferred.
- First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
This is a part-time position, working two to three days per week, and every other weekend, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
