We are currently in search of a qualified:
HOSPICE AIDE (CNA)
PRN
(Moore & Hoke Counties)
Position Overview:
- Deliver direct patient care as part of hospice services.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained as required.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of a Board of Nursing approved training and competency evaluation program, current listing with the Division of Facility Services Registry, and a minimum of one year of patient care and record-keeping experience in a healthcare or custodial environment.
- Proof of at least 75 certified education hours.
- Ability to effectively organize work and provide quality healthcare services to homebound patients through appropriate patient care, ensuring thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of care provided.
- Willingness to accept travel and work conditions as assigned.
- Understanding of safe and appropriate personal care principles and adherence to company policies and procedures, including effective communication skills (both oral and written) and CPR certification.
- A minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.
